We just came back from Australia and Singapore where we saw plenty of wildflowers in the outback as well as city sights in Singapore, Perth and Sydney. We're just beginning to sort through and identify the hundreds of new plants we saw.
It was nice to get away from all the medical stuff -- which started up right after we got back. Paul had a bone marrow biopsy on Monday, and that will determine whether or not he's ready for a stem cell transplant. Tim had a PET scan earlier today to assess the status of his pancreatic tumor. If the cancer has grown again, Tim will have to begin a new chemo regime after having been off chemo for 7 months. While we wait for the results of our tests, we're cramming in a couple more trips (one to Wisconsin to see Paul's dad, and one to Santa Fe). Plus, we're also working on getting another car after our run-in with the deer.
Stay tuned and we'll let you know the results as they come in.
